TwinSAFE software

Safe flexibility on the software side too

TwinSAFE fully integrates into the Beckhoff control philosophy and provides a range of software utilities to complement hardware components for safety-related applications. Such applications are implemented in TwinCAT 3, which is a universal development tool that can be used for both standard and safety applications. In addition, the TwinSAFE system provides an extension for the TwinCAT 3 EtherCAT simulation environment and facilitates testing of safety applications without using actual hardware or with only limited use of hardware.

The TwinSAFE Loader and TwinSAFE User applications enable safety applications to be downloaded and adapted without using TwinCAT 3 as engineering environment.
